I'm a Library Assistant in my late twenties from the Caribbean, and have been involved in school Libraries (in one form or another) for close to ten years. I love getting my kids involved and talking about the books they read.
I love even more when talking about the issues in those books lead them to learning even more.
Other things you should know: I'm also a writer: nothing published yet, and only one book that's anywhere near being complete. So every November, expect some mention of NaNoWriMo. I'm also very good at being a fan of... many different things. The list includes Hank and John Green, Avatar the Last Airbender, One Piece, Sherlock, Star Trek and Doctor Who, to name a few. Believe me: the list of "things I am a fan of" is shamefully long. Thankfully, I have alternate tumblr and twitter accounts, so you shall be spared the brunt of that.
